Bruce Koerber grew up in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, although currently he lives in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
Bruce is an economist in the classical liberalism tradition. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in forestry and two Masters Degrees.
While studying economics at Auburn University in 1985 he learned of the Ludwig von Mises Institute and began avidly reading and studying about free market economics.
MORE THAN LAISSEZ-FAIRE is his fourth book, published in 2008. It supersedes his first book and takes its place as the first book in the divine economy theory sequence.
His first book, DIVINE ECONOMY And Its Real World Economic Principles, was published in 2005.
His second book, DIVINE MICROECONOMY: A Tapestry of Human Virtues was published in 2006. This book will be re-written this next winter (to be published in 2009) in a textbook format to serve as an alternative microeconomics textbook.
ETHICS of the Divine Economy is his third book, published in 2007.
God willing, Bruce will have an opportunity to write the fourth and final book envisioned for this series (anticipated to be published in 2011), and which when finished will complete this sequence of books about the divine economy.

As Bruce stated in several of his blogs: "I am a divine economy theorist!" If you believe in laissez-faire economics and trust in God then you are ready to explore the divine economy theory and to examine the divine economy models developed by Bruce Koerber (divineeconomyconsulting@msn.com).
